Subprocessors
Last updated: April 19, 2026
Syntropic, operated by Bert Software Inc., engages a small number of third-party subprocessors to help deliver our services. A subprocessor is any third party we engage that processes customer personal data in the course of providing our services. The table below lists the subprocessors we use, what they do, and where they process data.
Customer-connected data sources — such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks, MotherDuck, and customer-owned Amazon S3 buckets — are not subprocessors of Syntropic. Customers provide their own credentials and remain the data controllers of those systems; Syntropic accesses them only at the customer's direction to perform the operations the customer has requested.
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Data processed | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Cloud infrastructure — application hosting, PostgreSQL (RDS), object storage (S3), key management (KMS) | All customer content: account data, encrypted connection credentials, table metadata | Canada (ca-central-1) |
| WorkOS | SSO and user authentication; transactional auth emails | Email address, name, authentication events | United States |
| Stripe | Subscription billing and payment processing | Billing contact, tokenized payment method, subscription metadata | United States |
| Sentry | Error tracking and performance monitoring (production only) | Error events, stack traces, user identifiers | United States |
| Logfire (Pydantic) | Application logging and distributed tracing | Application logs, request traces, user identifiers | United States |
| Cloudflare | Content delivery network and privacy-first web analytics | IP address, request metadata (no cookies) | Global edge network |
